What is National AccessAbility Week?
National AccessAbility Week raises awareness for accessibility and inclusion in the workplace and beyond, celebrates the contributions of people with disabilities and promotes breaking down barriers to create more inclusive spaces. NAAW happens annually during the last week of May and includes various events that highlight and support accessibility initiatives.
NAAW also aims to prepare students for the workforce and teaches them how to navigate their future careers. This includes providing information about disclosure best practices, connecting students with inclusive employers and helping everyone learn to be a better ally. See resources from our events in 2025.
York hosts National AccessAbility Week in conjunction with the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW).
