Mature student mentors are here to support your transition and success at York University. Mentors are available to all mature, part-time and transfer students to offer guidance and advice throughout the year.

How can mature student mentors help me?
Mature student mentors are experienced, caring upper-year students who are there for you when you want to talk. They can also help you with:
- understanding and making referrals to York’s student services;
- navigating the physical spaces at York; and
- insights on succeeding in your studies.

Advice: Build connections by forming study groups with classmates in each course to stay engaged and on track. Maintain open communication with your professors to ensure they are aware of your progress and any challenges you may face. Take full advantage of the resources available at York University to support your academic success.
Hobbies/ Interests: I love playing chess and I am deeply passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their financial freedom, particularly in today’s uncertain economic environment.
