Program: BES Cities, Regions, Planning, Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change

Background: I am a Cities, Regions, Planning student at York University with a background in journalism. My path through post-secondary education has not been a straight line, so I understand that starting university, returning to school, or transferring from another institution can come with a lot of questions and uncertainty. Through my studies, work, and involvement in the York community, I have developed a strong interest in student support, civic engagement, and helping people find their place on campus.

As an ACMAPS Transition Coach, I hope to help students feel more confident and connected as they navigate York. Whether you have questions about campus resources, getting involved, balancing different responsibilities, or simply figuring out where to begin, I want to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable asking questions and finding the support that works for you.

Hobbies/Interests: I play and coach volleyball, learned to play tennis this summer, and try to spend as much time outdoors as I can. I enjoy learning about cities by experiencing their transit, culture, and way of life. I have also gotten really into coding, especially for civic engagement and civic tech projects.

Quote: "The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them." - George Bernard Shaw
