UnlockFood.ca focuses on healthy eating throughout the lifecycle (from infants to seniors), nutrition topics of interest, and preventing and managing health conditions. Resources are available on specific diets, supplements, illness prevention and management, budgeting and shopping, menu planning, and more. 

In order to support community members who dine on campus at different price points, York University has introduced a value meal program which ensures that community members can access healthy and exciting meal options with a two week cycle at a value price point of $6.99. Value Meals are available at Central Square Market and Glendon Marché locations and easily identifiable from Chef’s Table stations so everyone can navigate the dining areas with ease.

    • The YFS Food Support Centre helps students overcome difficult financial circumstances by providing free non-perishable food and basic need items.

    • Provides information on community and government services available in the Toronto, Durham, Peel, and York Regions. Food services include food bank information and referrals, food access and delivery, community meals, cooking classes and facilities, and more.
