Health811 is a free, secure and confidential service you can call or access online 24 hours a day, seven days a week to get health advice from a registered nurse or find health services or information. Services are available in English and French, with translation services available for other languages. 

Planned Parenthood Toronto is a community health centre that provides primary and sexual health care services to youth between the ages of 13 and 29. PPT also offers health promotion programming, education, training, and research to improve the health and well-being of Toronto’s diverse communities. All PPT services are offered within a pro-choice, inclusive, youth-friendly, non-judgmental environment.

211Central.ca provides information on community and government services available in the Toronto, Durham, Peel, and York Regions.  Health services include finding a community health centre or medical provider, pregnancy care, programs for individuals with disabilities, locating nearest walk-in clinics and emergency rooms, and more.

UHIP Preferred Providers

By visiting a UHIP-preferred provider, your bill will be sent directly to the insurance company at the UHIP rate, so you won’t need to pay upfront or worry about overcharges.
