Student Financial Profile

If you are interested in positions with the Work/Study program, Leadership, Engagement and Ambassadorship program (LEAP) and Research at York (RAY) for the fall/winter 2024-25 term, find out how to apply through the Work Study Programs webpage. Please note, you will now need to apply through the Work Study Application instead of the Student Financial Profile.

The current Student Financial Profile will be replaced at the beginning of fall 2024 with a new Financial Aid, Awards and Scholarships solution. Learn more about it by watching this new platform through this short video.Stay tuned for more details in July.

If you have applied for any scholarship or award that require you to submit supplementary documentation such as reference letters or personal statements, these documents can be submitted to the Scholarships and Bursaries team by email at bursary@yorku.ca.

What is the Student Financial Profile?

You can submit the Student Financial Profile (SFP) to apply for York University scholarships, awards, bursaries.

We also use the SFP to assess your eligibility for our on-campus employment programs: Work/Study; Leadership, Engagement and Ambassadorship Program (LEAP); and Research at York (RAY).

We strongly suggest that you submit the SFP at the start of each academic session: once for fall/winter and once for summer.

Who Can Access the SFP?

  • Current Undergraduate students. Undergraduate students in their first year at York must have paid their registration deposit.
    • Juris Doctor students in Osgoode Hall Law School can use the SFP only for campus employment eligibility assessment
  • Current graduate students, except for Schulich School of Business graduate students
