Movie Night Extravaganza for mature & transfer students

The movie night was designed exclusively for students who were looking to unwind and connect with fellow film enthusiasts. The film, Everything, Everywhere All at Once, focused on passion and purpose in life.

ACMAPS and YUMSO had student well-being in mind by planning the movie night as the exam period approached.

The Centre and Athletics & Recreation made ribbons to promote awareness and foster a commitment to ending gender-based violence. The purple and white ribbons represent ending violence against women, and men's promises to end violence against women and girls.

The Centre offered a board game night as an opportunity for participants to meet new people, unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening of friendly competition. The event promoted social connection, collaboration and stress relief.

Varsity Athletics fall 2024 highlights

2024 shared one of the most successful fall terms in recent memory for the Lions! Highlighted by a pair of U SPORTS medals for women's field hockey and men's soccer, seven major awards earned at the conference and national levels and the successful restart of the YorkU football program!

Learning Skills Services featured in Schulich's first-year advising sessions

LSS delivered time management workshops as part of Schulich's mandatory first-year advising sessions. Students reflected on their current time management challenges and habits, and LSS peers shared strategies about goal-setting, prioritization and staying focused while maintaining one's well-being.
