I'm currently a political science major and political enthusiast. I've always been intrigued by politics and the political process and so it was only fitting that I expand my knowledge by pursuing my degree in political science. Other than politics, I enjoy watching movies and listening to audiobooks and podcasts, especially when I commute and workout. Additionally, I love networking, learning and ultimately growing as an individual.

I'm currently in the program of Law and Society. This is based on my enthusiasm to explore the socio-legal field and incorporate it into my professional journey of provision of support systems/services to the public. During my free time, I love to go out and have fun!

Mouna

I’m in my third year in the Biomedical Science program. I’ve always been fascinated with science, mainly biology. Getting the chance to be in labs and implement what I’m learning is what I enjoy. My program challenges me with how complex and intricate science is and the endless possibilities of employment afterwards. When I have free time, I love watching Turkish dramas, reading romance novels and going on long walks.

I'm currently majoring in Law and Society, whilst completing a certificate in Refugee and Migration studies. My major and certificate allow me to explore two areas of study that I am passionate about. My primary interests include reading and fitness. Moving forward, I am still trying to decide what path to pursue, but I can see myself pursuing a career in sports or immigration law.

Glory

I’m a third year applied mathematics major. Growing up, I wanted to be a math teacher, so I went into the program, although my career now is leaning toward the actuary profession. I love to cook, it's my way of destressing sometimes. My favourite thing to cook is Egusi soup (a local dish from Nigeria).

My name is James Ehiagwina, and I am a second year Direct-Entry Nursing student. I chose this program because I enjoy connecting with people and I am also interested in science, and nursing allows me to combine my interests while also allowing me to use my skills to impact the healthcare system. Aside from my academic and professional responsibilities, I enjoy playing frisbee and spending time with friends. I'm also a very big movie fan who is always looking for new films to watch. My favourite thing to eat is Jollof rice.

Hey everyone! My name is Miquela (Kayla) Jones. I am a second-year Interdisciplinary Social Science Student. I chose my program to allow more flexibility as I decide my future career. In 2022, I graduated from Mohawk College and received my Social Service Work degree! I am passionate about working with people from all demographics and would like to make a difference in the lives of all persons I meet. I love singing, writing poems and creating content on social media. My favourite food is (Jamaican) Run-Down with ground provisions.

Simi

I’m in my first year in individualized Studies. I previously obtained an undergraduate degree in Human Behaviour at McMaster University and wanted to specialize my studies in psychology further in regard to child psychology. I chose this program because it grants me the flexibility to specifically tailor my degree to my interests in studying the integration of education and health as it pertains to the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and young adults. My favourite food is Fettuccine Bolognese.
